TubeWorth ("the App", "we", "us") is an iOS application published by Stephen Kyuper ("the Developer"). It helps YouTube creators view statistics about their own channel, such as subscribers, views, watch time, audience insights and milestones, and shows an informational estimate of what their channel could be worth.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, where it is stored and what your choices are. It applies to the App and to this website. It is written to be read in full, but the short version is:
- Your YouTube data stays on your device. TubeWorth has no server of its own. Channel and analytics data is fetched directly from YouTube's official APIs into a local database on your phone.
- We never see your Google password. Sign-in happens on Google's own page using Google's OAuth 2.0 system.
- We do not sell, share, rent or transmit your YouTube data to anyone.
- We never access your YouTube earnings or monetization data. The App only requests read-only access to statistics.
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics SDKs. The App does not track you across other apps or websites.
1. Information the App accesses
1.1 Information from your Google Account and YouTube
When you sign in, you authorize the App to access your YouTube account through the Google OAuth 2.0 system. The App requests only these two read-only scopes:

Using these scopes, the App accesses the following categories of data for channels you own or manage:
- Channel information: channel ID, name, handle, description, profile image, country, creation date, subscriber count, total view count and video count.
- Video information: title, description, thumbnail, publish date, duration, privacy status, tags, category, caption availability, view / like / comment counts, and live-stream status.
- Analytics reports: daily and monthly statistics as listed above. Audience demographics and locations are only ever provided by YouTube in aggregated form (for example, "42% of views came from the United States"). The App never receives, and cannot see, information about any individual viewer or subscriber.
- Public subscribers: YouTube optionally provides a small list of subscribers who have chosen to make their subscription public. The App shows this list only if you open that section, and does not store it beyond the local cache described below.
- Comments and live chat messages posted on your videos and live streams, which are already visible to you in YouTube.
The App does not request access to, and cannot read or change:
- Your Google password or Google Account settings
- Your Gmail, Contacts, Drive, Photos or any other Google service
- Your YouTube earnings, AdSense, or any monetization or payment data
- The ability to upload, edit, delete or publish anything on your channel
Any channel valuation shown in the App is calculated on your device from the statistics above. It is an estimate for information only and is not based on actual earnings.
1.2 Information you enter in the App
You may optionally enter your own figures, such as your approximate monthly revenue or a content niche, to refine the valuation estimate. These entries are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.
1.3 Purchase information
TubeWorth offers an optional subscription ("TubeWorth Pro") sold through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; the App never sees your card or bank details. To recognize your subscription, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user ID and your App Store purchase receipt so that it can confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat does not receive any YouTube or Google data. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
1.4 Information we do not collect
The App does not contain any advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK or social-media SDK. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, device identifiers for advertising, or browsing history. We do not build profiles about you.
2. How the information is used
The App uses the information above solely to provide its features to you:
- To show your channel dashboard, video performance, analytics charts, audience insights, traffic sources and milestones.
- To calculate, on your device, an informational estimate of your channel's value and a projection of its growth.
- To let you benchmark your channel against public statistics of other YouTube channels you choose to add. Only public information about those channels is accessed.
- To send you local notifications on your device (for example, when you reach a subscriber milestone or publish a new video), if you turn notifications on. These notifications are generated on your device; no notification service or server is involved.
- To keep a Home Screen widget up to date with your subscriber count.
- To confirm your TubeWorth Pro subscription status.
We do not use your data for advertising, for training artificial-intelligence models, for selling to data brokers, or for any purpose other than operating the App's user-facing features.
3. Where the information is stored and for how long
- On your device only. All YouTube data the App fetches is stored in a local database inside the App's private container on your iPhone. It is protected by your device passcode / Face ID / Touch ID and by iOS's app sandbox. It may be included in your own iCloud or iTunes device backups, which are controlled by you and Apple.
- OAuth tokens (the credentials Google issues after you sign in) are stored in the Apple Keychain on your device. They are never written to the database, included in logs, or sent anywhere other than to Google's own servers to fetch your data.
- No copy on our servers. We do not operate any server that receives, stores or processes your YouTube data. We, the Developer, cannot see your data.
- Refresh and retention. The App refreshes cached data automatically when you use it. Locally cached YouTube data is kept only for as long as you keep the channel connected. Detailed daily analytics history is kept locally for up to about two years to draw long-range charts; you can delete it at any time (see Section 5).
- Widget data. A small summary (your channel name, subscriber count, recent growth and next milestone) is stored in a shared container on your device so the Home Screen widget can display it.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share your personal information or your YouTube data with third parties.
The only parties that receive any data as a result of using the App are:
- Google / YouTube, which provides the data to the App at your request, under Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
- Apple, which processes App Store purchases and, if you use it, device backups, under Apple's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous app-user ID and purchase receipt to verify subscriptions, as described in Section 1.3.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, but because we hold no user data on servers, there is generally nothing for us to disclose.
5. Your choices and controls
- Revoke the App's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account security settings: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The App will immediately stop being able to fetch new data.
- Disconnect within the App: Settings → Disconnect YouTube. This deletes the OAuth tokens from your device's Keychain and deletes all locally stored channel, video and analytics data for that channel.
- Remove additional channels: Settings → Switch Account → swipe to remove. This deletes that channel's tokens and local data.
- Clear cached data: Settings → Clear Cached Data deletes all locally cached YouTube data while keeping you signed in.
- Delete everything: uninstalling the App deletes the App's local database and shared widget data. Keychain entries are removed on uninstall as well.
- Notifications: turn on or off in Settings within the App, or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
- Subscription: manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
6. Use of YouTube API Services and Google user data
TubeWorth uses YouTube API Services. By using the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) in addition to this Privacy Policy, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
TubeWorth's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We only use Google user data to provide and improve the App's user-facing features that are visible to you.
- We do not transfer Google user data to others, except as necessary to provide the App's features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to users.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data, because the Developer never receives it.
The App stores authorized YouTube data only on your device, refreshes it regularly while the channel is connected, and deletes it when you disconnect the channel, clear cached data, or uninstall the App.
TubeWorth is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. "YouTube" is a trademark of Google LLC.
7. Children's privacy
The App is intended for YouTube channel owners and managers. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A Google Account is required to use the App, and Google's own age requirements apply.
8. Security
Your data is protected by the security of your device (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, encryption at rest provided by iOS), by the iOS app sandbox, and by the Apple Keychain for credentials. All communication with Google, Apple and RevenueCat uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Because we do not store your data on servers, there is no central database of user data that could be breached.
9. International users
The App can be used anywhere the App Store is available. Your YouTube data is transferred directly between your device and Google's servers under Google's terms; we do not transfer or store it in any other country. Subscription verification data is processed by RevenueCat in the United States.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under the GDPR, the UK, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Because the Developer does not hold your personal information on any server, you can exercise these rights directly and immediately using the controls in Section 5. If you have any question about your rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
We do not sell personal information and have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
